Bulimia is an eating disorder. It is characterized by uncontrolled episodes of overeating followed by purging by inducing vomiting or use of laxatives.
Most often females, at their teens are affected. People from the family with eating disorder, mental health illness and physical illness are affected mostly

Diagnosis is based on the history told by patient.

· Stomach rupture
· Dental problems
· Irregular menstrual periods
· Kidney problems
· Diminished sex drive
· Addictions, substance abuse, and/or compulsive behavior
· Depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other mental health problems
· Suicidal behavior
